ONLY ONE TYPE

Overprint size is 13.5 x 4.0 mm
using printer's cliche with printer's  ink
or stamp pad ink.

Overprint Color: Black or Violet

Squares Instead of Periods
After "O" and "B".

This overprint type is one of the three known as Tagle 1931 Bureau Imitations as they are almost similar to Scott # O5 to O26, the Bureau Official Issue of 1931. The main difference with the Tagle Type 3 O.B. overprints is the O is not round while on the Tagle overprint, the O is round. The Bureau overprint is shorter (11.5 mm) and the periods are all round. Both the height of the letters and the distance between the centers of the periods are the same for both overprints. On the Bureau overprint, the top and bottom back parts of the B have a serif while the back of the B on this Tagle imitation is straight, in most cases.
